The Florence Chamber of Commerce has been assisting the business community for almost 100 years. We held our 96th annual banquet in February, 2008.

The Chamber sponsors many programs throughout the year, including Arbor Day, a city-wide cleanup campaign, customer and business appreciation, craft fairs, barbecues for both the public and appreciation picnics for city employees and the fire department, Halloween trick-or-treat for kids, and Christmas promotions, to name a few.

The Chamber has undertaken projects to make our downtown more attractive, placing banners on the light poles through the main shopping district and putting up Christmas displays during the holidays.

In addition, the Chamber office fields requests for relocation information and tourism information.

The Florence Chamber is administered by a 12-member board of directors and a part-time paid executive director.
